Scientific Name - Hibiscus coccineus
The Water Hibiscus, also known as Swamp Hibiscus and Scarlet Rosemallow, is native to South-eastern United States. This showy plant can grow up to 2 metres and prefers shallow water or bog gardens.
The Swamp Hibiscus has stunning, highly visible flowers that can draw the attention to wildlife, such as birds and butterflies. This plant is perennial and will die back completely in the winter and will then begin to sprout again in spring. Flowering will occur throughout Summer.
Pond Plants can come in two sizes, 140mm ($12.95) or 200mm ($20.00) pot. The 140 pots are generally always in stock but the larger 200 pots are not always available. Please check for availability.
