DS700 – Solar Pond Pump

The DS700 Solar Pond Pump is designed for small ponds, water bowls and features, etc. While the Solar Panel is exposed to full sunlight the pump will run at its full capacity, providing a lovely small spray or spout. The pump has a built-in function called dry-run protection. Whenever the pump is out of the water, it stops automatically, and when it is fully submerged into the water again, it will run again with a random delay time between 0-5 minutes. This Kit DOES NOT include a battery and will only run during the day. The DS700 is ideal for providing a little extra oxygen for your fish, and is also a great backup when the power goes out!

The DS700 can have a Battery added to it. There are two types of battery. A Lead Acid Battery (DSBATLD7) - This Battery has a high, med and low setting. The higher the setting you have it, the more power you will get from the pump but you will get less battery life. This battery also has a timer which allows you to run the pump for 10mins every hour.  The Lithium Battery (DSBALI6) - This battery is not adjustable. See graphs below for both the Lead Acid and Lithium Battery outputs. Even with battery back-up the solar pumps will not run 24/7! The Max. Daily Hours run time is in absolutely perfect sun conditions. This will vary seasonally and depending on position.
