Philodendron adds a tropical feel to your indoor or outdoor garden. This evergreen, compact plant produces glossy, lime green leaves that are dramatically lobed, creating a dense, tidy growth habit. An ideal addition to any shaded garden, excellent along borders, or mass planted as an understory plant. Plant in an area of full sun to semi shade. It can be grown in the garden in tropical and subtropical areas. In colder parts, it is best grown as an indoor or patio plant, under high light conditions. Philodendron is low maintenance and pest free. It does not produce aerial roots and has a wide climatic tolerance. Remove old and damaged leaves and protect from frost.
